Let's send Council a message
I have lived most of my life in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki. My family and I live in Royal Oak, just 200metres outside the ward boundaries. We have a long history here. My grandparents moved to Glen Innes in the 1950s. I was born in Konini Road, and went to Penrose High.
I’ve worked in Onehunga and Greenlane for over a decade, including 5-years with then Maungakiekie National MP, Sam Lotu-Iiga. Working across government has given me extensive experience advocating for Maungakiekie-Tāmaki residents on local issues. I’ve helped thousands of residents with urgent housing, superannuation, immigration, and local government issues. I’ve also directly contributed to many important local projects including Onehunga Foreshore, Onehunga rail, AMETI, Tāmaki Regeneration and planting trees on One Tree Hill.
I will stand up for Maungakiekie-Tāmaki by keeping rates in check, cutting ridiculous Council waste, and opposing the petrol tax.
Vote Josh Beddell to send Council a message.
